Premium PBR Textures for Real-Time Engines

Core Capabilities

Feature List

Every texture is engineered for production pipelines. We prioritize physical accuracy, flawless repetition, and frictionless delivery.

Physically Based Rendering Accuracy

All albedo, roughness, and metallic maps are captured under controlled studio lighting and graded to sRGB/linear Rec.709 standards. Microfacet models match Unreal Engine 5 and Unity HDRP defaults out of the box.

Seamless Tiling Algorithms

Our proprietary gradient-domain blending engine eliminates visible hard edges at 4K and 8K resolutions. Supports anisotropic filtering without seam artifacts, verified on concrete, brushed steel, and weathered timber surfaces.

One-Click Export Formats

Push a single button to generate ready-to-import packages: Unity .asset bundles, Unreal .uasset containers, or standard PNG/TIFF sequences with pre-baked normal maps (OpenGL/DirectX flipped variants included).

Under the Hood

Technical Specifications

Built for technical artists and environment leads who demand predictable results across renderers.

Base resolution ships at 4096×4096 with optional 8192×8192 upscaled variants via AI-assisted detail preservation. Color depth is fixed at 16-bit per channel to prevent banding in high-contrast roughness transitions. Alpha channels are reserved strictly for opacity masks, never packed with secondary data. Mipmaps are pre-generated with trilinear filtering and DCT-based compression profiles optimized for ASTC and BC7 GPU formats.

Pipeline compatibility includes verified shaders for Substance 3D Sampler, Houdini VDB displacement, and Blender Cycles/Octane. All normal maps use tangent space with +Y up orientation, matching industry-standard asset store requirements.

Why Studios Choose GrainStack

Workflow Benefits

Cut iteration time and eliminate shader debugging by starting with production-ready materials.

Zero-Config Engine Drop-In

Materials auto-connect to PBR graphs. No manual channel remapping or color space toggles required. Tested on 142 commercial projects since Q3 2023.

Consistent Lighting Response

Roughness values are calibrated to real-world BRDF measurements. A brushed aluminum tile will reflect environment maps identically whether rendered in Lumen, Path Tracing, or baked lightmaps.

Batch Processing & Versioning

Export entire collections with matching naming conventions and metadata tags. Semantic versioning ensures your pipeline scripts never break when we push hotfixes to normal map orientations.
